Seconds Please! History

Program Outline

A woman in her early twenties wrote to us the other day, stating that when she had her baby, no one was there for her. Her man had skipped out, and all of her comrades, who spoke of unity, and spoke of the 14 words, offered her no support, no kind words, no help of any sort. We were touched by this woman, who even though she had been alone those first few trying months of motherhood, wanted to help others, by donating clothing her son had outgrown.

Started in early 1999, Seconds Please! is a distribution program organized by Sigrdrifa Publications. It was originally started for new and expecting mothers and their babies, but as interest increased, so did the expanded the program to include children of all ages.
