How To Help

Stamps or Money Postage stamps are always a necessity we can use. We can also accept monetary donations (money orders made out to SIGRDRIFA Publications) to help cover postage costs, but would prefer sheets of US stamps (any denomination) if possible.

We can now also accept online donations through paypal.com! (See Side Button)

Clothing Any clothing (infant, toddler and children, but also maternity, and adult, as well). Second hand items are always welcomed as long as they are in good condition: a little bit of wear is fine, but stains and holes are hardly fit as gifts for our Folk.

Accessories Crib bedding, baby towels, wash cloths, diaper stackers, and any other accessories for babies that can be put into a box and mailed. Bottles, pacifiers, infant spoons, bowls, breast pumps and other feeding accessories are also accepted - they will be sterilized before being sent out.

Toys Rattles, blocks, etc... Basically anything in good condition, preferably not too large or heavy because of mailing costs. Cardboard, cloth and/or plastic books for all ages are also accepted.

School Supplies Educational items, workbooks, paper, pens, pencils, art supplies, textbooks, etc... are also welcome as they can be donated to homeschooling families involved in the Seconds Please! Exchange Program.

Large Items For larger items like cribs, toddler beds, high chairs etc. that would be too large and expensive to mail, we can try to find a family in your area who needs help, so please contact us for details.

Remember Any items you send should be in good condition and appropriate for Folk families. If you like, you can also include a card, note or gift for the families involved, with your contact information in case they may wish to write to you, or remain completely anonymous. You can send as little or as much as you want, every bit will help!

What if you don’t have children’s items to donate??? Recently, Seconds Please started accepting CDs, Books, Flight Jackets/Bombers, Boots, etc. with the intent that these items will be sold to create funds for Seconds Please. This option is perfect for those who are childless, or who may have little money to spare. Everyone is now able to donate to the Seconds Please program and assist the families of our Folk.

Select the items you wish to donate, and pack them into a box or bubble envelope. Include your contact information (email address, mailing address or telephone #) if you wish to receive confirmation when your package is received. We reccomend sending parcels through the US postal service surface mail, because it is usually cheapest. You can also email us know you've sent a parcel, or to ask any questions you may have about the program, etc.
