Writers wishing to submit to SIGRDRIFA magazine
should be advised of the following:
SIGRDRIFA considers both non-fiction and fiction
manuscripts (articles and poetry), but prefers non-fiction.
SIGRDRIFA also accepts both color (preferred) and black and
white (ink) artwork.
In order for submissions to be considered,
the following must be included:
* Contact information (which can and may be published unless
otherwise stated)
* Works cited (if necessary)
* A self-addressed, stamped envelope with sufficient postage
(if you wish your manuscript to be returned. Please note,
artwork is not returned).
Submissions should be typewritten, when possible,
or legibly hand written and, preferable, not longer than 2,000
words. We will accept submissions longer than 2000 words,
but they may be abridged at Editor’s discretion.
It is strongly encouraged that writers check
several recent issues of the magazine, to find if their proposal
is suitable to SIGRDRIFA. The most successful submissions
are well organized and focused pieces which contain unique
information with a Folk aware/concerned perspective.
All submissions become property of SIGRDRIFA
Publications.
We do not pay for submissions to SIGRDRIFA
magazine.
All authors of published manuscripts and/or
artwork will receive a copy of the issue of SIGRDRIFA magazine
in which their piece appeared.
Due to the shortage of staff and the enormous
volume of mail received, the SIGRDRIFA staff may take up to
12 weeks to respond to queries.
Send manuscripts and queries to:
