Support Sigrdrifa
Our emblem is a Celtic knot, which is commonly
accepted as a symbol of eternity & continuum, as well
as culture & heritage. The Sigrdrifa knot has no beginning,
and no end. The center can be considered from where the paths
emerge, or where they cross. Each takes its separate way,
but comes from one another. Our insignia is a symbol of birth,
death and rebirth; of culture & heritage; and of continuum.
Additionally, as the knot extends outward, the paths go forward;
this can be seen as the perpetual motion of our organization.
We are always moving forward - progressing.
The slogan of the Sigrdrifa Education Network
is Folk Building the Future!
We are Folk, who are building the future. We
are Folk Building, the future. We are creating a better tomorrow,
today!
The slogan of our main magazine is:
When you think Folk Building, think Sigrdrifa...
the longest running Folk Promoting & Preserving family
publication.
First produced in December 1995, Sigrdrifa is
a pioneer in the concept of Folk Building. No one can take
credit for coining the term of this ancient concept, but Sigrdrifa
is leading the way in modern Folk Building.
Folk Building and Sigrdrifa are synonymous.
